Could be the switch. Check the terminals on the switch to see if one or more is bent or broken where the battery connects. Or the switch could be bad internally. Another thing to check is the motor brushes. Sometimes they get hung up and stop making contact with the armature. I doubt they wore out the tool isn't that old. The switch part number is N019952 the numbers for each brush are 640555-00 and 640550-00. You can order parts online at dewaltservicenet.com or call 1-800-433-9258

Inconsistent power

If it's totally dead, the main fuse may have blown. However, since it was inconsistent before it went dead, it might lead me to think that you have a loose connection. Sometimes they heat, lose continuity, and then work again when they cool. A defective thermal protector might also cause this.

Just changed the bulb, TV is about 7 years old. Anyways, I get no power whatsoever after putting in the new bulb. I have tried to unplug and plug back in. The manuel has a main power switch for the 65...

I think if possible a little more information:

master power if it has it will be on back of set and some models have safety switch so if back is off set will not power up.

Do any of the indicator lights (think this model has two) come on or is it total dead set?

No power whatsoever suggests no lights on front of set, let me know as much as you can,

I am in California and will be online for a while.

I had to rev it to start and it would often die at intersections

There should be a pressure switch for the power steering that regulates rpm' to the computer.
It should have an electrical connector on it and located on the rack and pinion assembley.
