Clean pump light keeps coming on

Own a westinghouse wfs 1071aw 6th sense 7.5kilo front loader . just wondering if according to the manual that the definition of cleaning pump is undoing the filter bung and remofing foreign object because all the other front loader washing machines we have had e.g gorengi pacific , have a small filter tray incorperated into the bung when you remove it.the whirlpool doesent have this and it makes me think that something is missing ! is there supposed to be some sort of mesh or filter casing around it ? seems wierd that the filtration trap is just a skeletal plastic frame.is real pain when something as small as a 5 cent piece gets caught in it and i have to drain the remaining water and then put it through its rinse drain cyle again after mopping up .

That is the way to fix the issue. remove the debris and hope nothing else gets caught in the trap

I tried moving all the foreign objects that I could see (obvious things) then I put it back through a cycle and found the light was still on saying clean pump. I had to repeat the step again, but this time I got all the little things right at the back over the rubber lip - thing and there was alot more smaller objects that I never got out originally. Took EVERYTHING out this time and its good as gold now.

6th sense front loader washes normally but conditioner will not empty out of the dispenser

Please try and reset the power so that the program controller will reset and come back to settings. Also check the dispenser tray for any block within , if so clean and refill.
Since all these fuzzy logic works on the processor controller if the problem remains it can also be related to an error in the program.

I have a whirlpool WFS 1273 AW front loader that gets stuck in the spin cycle. The timer counts down from 18 minutes to 17 minutes and starts to spin but before it gets to full speed the control panel lights all flash, go blank, and the. The timer resets to 18 minutes. I have cleaned he drain pump, removed the clothes and tried it when empty and it does the same thing. It does not appear out of balance.

You should have a little divider in the soap drawer , it needs to be moved into a different position for liquid ( holds the liquid until the cycle begins)

I have a near new 8.5 kg 6th sense front loader that is leaking lots of water! I've cleaned the filter but no success

You will have to find out where the leak is . Get down and look. at the front, at the back, where? Check the hoses at both ends. Water can run down the hose from the tap or the drain hose can leak. Water can come up out of the grille in the floor This grille might be under the machine. Check it out Cheers Tony

Whirlpool 6th sense awm8163 programes never stops now cannot get it to work at all

The pump is at the lower left of the front of the machine covered by a white plate. Use a bowl to catch any remaining water when opening the screw thread inside and then clean and replace. If it is truely beyond repair then a new filter pump can be bought from ebay for £3 or thereabouts.

I have just drained mine manually in this way and am going to run it empty with soda crystals to glean a few more days use whilst the new pump arrives.

Good luck :)
