I haven't done this in awhile, but I believe your selecting the same item over and over. You need to scroll down and select Exit System Settings. Try that and see if it helps.

Try a different av or HDMI cable. Try a different input on your TV. Try a different TV. If the problem follows your playstation, irrespective of the troubleshooting, then it sounds like you have a hardware failure with your PS3 and it needs repair/replacement.

DUAL MONITOR SHOWS VIDEO ON BOTH

Are you using Windows XP or Vista?

Anyway, you can set the screen properties easily.

On your Desktop, Right-click it and then choose properties. On the tabs, locate Settings. You should be number 1 and 2 there. If your secondary monitor is number 2, there is a small checkbox below those windows and check the box Extend my Windows Desktop onto this monitor. Click number 1 again and then check USE THIS DEVICE AS PRIMARY MONITOR. Apply the settings and then click Ok.

If the above works, congratulations. :)
If not, please do not hesitate to post back so that I can assist you further.

Video cards

Your card certainly will support two monitors. It has two connectors and they are accessed by the nVidia software, available from the manufacturer's website. The link to find the latest version is below. You need to select '7 Series' in the second pull-down menu, and in the third you'll have to select your operating system. The software is a bit confusing, but I have the same video card in my computer, so if you need further help, please post your question / results by reply to this conversation.

StudioWorks 700s Monitor No Signal

Try to connect the monitor to a different desktop/laptop, to see if it works at all.

Try a different monitor on your computer, to see if the video-card in your computer is the problem.

Or, spend $50 to $100 to buy a used 15-inch or 17-inch LCD monitor.
