I'm trying to figure out if you are trying to turn it up or down. Sometimes it's an option in the game. The game actually controls the volume. Did you check the menu options?

SOURCE: I dropped my Blackberry Curve and the phone clicks...

Actually there is probably something tiny stuck inside the hands free headset piece.

Blackberry should have put a little cap on it to avoid this.

When this happens to me I just blow into the hands free jack and it starts working.

Now a days a put a piece of tape over it to avoid it happening in the future.

Hope this helps!

SOURCE: screen lights wont work on blackberry curve 8330

You could open up the phone and inspect if there is something you could do to the screen to make it light up or you could replace the lcd screen either by bringing it in for service which might cost a lot or you could do it yourself which is what I do I find its usualy cheaper to do it yourself I go to http://cnn.cn for all my cellphone parts its high quality and there is a lot of nice OEM parts there.

SOURCE: No sound on my blackberry curve

Take the battery out for at least one full minute and then put it back in. I started experiencing the same problem last night, checked all of my profiles and nothing was on mute or silence, so I got online to look for a solution and taking the battery out is the only thing that worked, I LITERALLY just did it, so hopefully the fix lasts......

Blackberry curve 8310 gaming problems

Some games or apps are not well optimized for the 8310, try using a combination of keys with the Alt key at the bottom right (Alt +Q or Alt+P) or simply the trackball. If this does not work I suggest you delete the app or game to free the internal memory.

Download the newest firmware upgrade from Blackberry. In addition to a couple of new apps (movie mode and voice recorder), it should take care of your problem. Of course, this is all free.

Volume of my phone isn't loud as it was earlier inspite of full

It could be a hardware fault or profile settings.

If you check your profile settings, by going to profile, scroll to the bottom of the submenu and select advanced.

In the next menu - select your active profile and the edit option

Then select one of the features such as phone, you would previously have associated with loud tone and check both out of and in holster settings for volume.

On the right hand side of your blackberry click the top button!

Failing that, from your desktop go to

Profile
Loud
Activate

In this menu press your blackberry button and you have a shorter menu - Choose Edit

Which of the volume levels do you want to turn up, you will see a list - volume - Choose from escalating to mute.

People can't hear me on my Blackberry Curve unless I turn the phone and talk loudly right into the speaker. I am so sick of having the "I can't really hear you" conversation! With my bluetooth, I have the...

When using the IHF1000 with your Blackberry Curve, I recommend to go into the device properties for the IHF1000 in the phone's Bluetooth devices listing. Under that, there should be a phone setting to turn Echo Canceller: On, Off, or Automatic. By default, it is Automatic. For this phone with the IHF1000, I would set it to Off. This has solved audio quality problems for a number of people.

Note: this may or may not directly address the low uplink audio level you are experiencing, but it does seem to help with general call audio quality when connected to the IHF1000.

My ringtone volume sounds too low for a blackberry curve. And my friends have the same phone and its louder!Im mad this phone is brand new!!

Just_Bobz is correct and incorrect at the same time...

Not all blackberry curves are set up the same nor do they all have the same "theme" (layout)

For instance the T-mobile Blackberry Curve (8120) has a different theme and therefore the sound option is not in the upper right hand corner like the Alltel Blackberry Curve (8330) default theme.

My suggestion is to find the volume control icon on your curve (or the volume themes as I like to call them). When you click on the speaker icon you will have the options for the different volume themes such as Loud, Vibrate, Quiet, Normal, Phone Only, and Off. Click on whichever theme you will be using on a regular basis to activate it.

** Another area where Just_Bobz is incorrect… just because you have put the volume theme on Loud does NOT mean that the phone is on its loudest possible sound setting!!

If you go back into the volume themes, all the way at the bottom there is an Advanced option.. If you click on Advanced, highlight which ever theme says active next to it and click your trackball to open it ... you will then have the option to change the option for any and all alerts on the phone (ie email, phone, mms, sms, bbm. ect.) Under each of the different options there is ANOTHER sound option for low, medium, high, ect. (and there is an in and out of holster setting

SOO..

Just because your volume theme is set to Loud.. does not mean that the phone is truly set to loud!!

Can't download music from my PC to the Blackberry Curve

Go to the options, then click media card, scroll to Auto Enable Mass Storage and set to prompt. Unplug your BB from USB and plug it back in. It will prompt you with a message "Do you want to turn on Mass Storage Mode? Click yes. Don't click Don't ask this question again. I actually came here to find the solution, then i figured it out. Your "Disk Drive" added will then say Blackberry.
