Trying to make the rooter work - Computers & Internet

Hi,check all the connections,switch rooter off with the button on the rooter and switch it on again wait for a minite press the warps button and if that dose not work phone your provider and they should be able to help you,all the best.

Try rooter factory reset and conect witout password then reconfigurate rooter setings.

reset the rooter small button on back a pencil point will do about 3 sec and release the new wep key on back of rooter

from your rooter administration program/file.
you need to log in into ur rooter. Ussually in a browser : http://192.168.1.0 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.0.0 or 192.168.0.1
Login in there with ur custom username and password (you should have them on ur rooter manual. (try user: admin and password: admin it should work.)

i don't think you can access setting webpage from your laptop wirelessly unless you hardwire it to the router(security issue plus you have to enable it in the settings). so hardwire the laptop to the router and try the ip address again....should work.

Make sure the cables are firmly attached, and locked into place in both ethernet ports, both on the router and the Xbox. I get this issue sometimes and it's annoying... i know ^^
