Have you followed instructions for your router
and then set up each pc to connect
make sure router is turned on if you have that option
also check to make sure ethernet cords are plugged in to the correct
plugin on router.
You can also try resetting the router

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How do I change or find out my password to connect to the internet?

You can access the administration of your rooter with a browser on your computer: often it is http://192.168.2.1 but it change according to the company. The user is "admin" with no password if you haven't changed it.

You can also reset your rooter with a trombone in a hole at the rear. it will be reset without any password.

If you have a rooter provided by a company like Bell or AT&T, ask them to reset the password.

Write your password on a paper !!!

i don't think you can access setting webpage from your laptop wirelessly unless you hardwire it to the router(security issue plus you have to enable it in the settings). so hardwire the laptop to the router and try the ip address again....should work.
