Question about GE WCVH6800J 27" Front-Load Washer with 3.5 cu. ft. Capacity, 26 Wash Cycles, HydroWash System, 1,100 RPM Spin Speed and ADA Compliant
Washer shuts off during any non specific cycle and must be reset by unplugging the unit.. After unplugging unit resumes at the point it shut off at. Was just happening infrequently but, now it will not run a full cycle.

Removed hose connecting to water pump at tub. Removed clog (ink pen, coins, etc). Replaced and ran washer. Ran through all cycles - no leaking, no pausing of cycles. Problem is resolved.

take the bottom panel off three screws and put your hand up where the door is located feeling blindly for a plastic latch....pull the latch to manually unlock door..... then with the door open unplug washer and wait 10 minutes...even if you have done this before this is different b/c the door will be open....still open plug back up and turn on..if the display comes on its the door lock...about $94.00 if no display its the panel board and that'a about $ 200.00...hope this helps too

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Mike - Typically, if the water temperature combination is not appropriate for the cycle selected, the status lights will blink and signal will beep 3 times. Try resetting the unit by either unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker to the off position. Wait roughly ten minutes and turn on the washer. Select a normal cycle and verify if the washer continues to beep. If resetting the power does not correct the issue, your appliance could be experiencing a communication error with the control board or could have a wiring failure. I would suggest contacting an experienced service technician to determine the precise cause.
