This type of behavior usually indicates that an internal protection circuit is kicking in. This will shutdown the set when a problem is detected. Apparently, a problem is detected and when no longer detected, the set restarts. This unit should be brought in for service as this type of problem is not likely to be resoplved remotely.

Good luck,
Dan

Flat screen tv

hello, what you have is a shutdown circut,
the number of sos blinks determines the fualty part or section.
this is built in it helps to isolate the damage if your tv senses an internal voltage drop or spike it will shut down then start flashing when you turn it on. usually a fualty board will cuase this

the number of blinks determines where the trouble is.

hope this helps

Plasma wnt stay on

I have had this problem in some models of plasma sets before. In most cases the power supply and main drive boards had to be replaced. In a small number of cases the failure was the screen itself.

In all cases, the cost of the repair was expensive. For the screen failure, the set was scrapped.
