You didn't mention your computer specs? Not likely, a computer is made up of components that work together and with one high performance part you will not see a big increase in speed. That said, If you have a Top-of -the Line Computer with the best of all components available ($5,000 +) it would have a SSD drive, usually to load your OS on. At present the large SSD go for around $1,300.
