After one day of use, the TV has a blank white screen. No buttons are working at all at this point.

This is usually due to the tv's power supply shutting it down to prevent further damage. It does this when one of the other boards in the set is drawing more power than it should, indicating a faulty part on the board. This needs an experienced engineer to diagnose and repair it, and as this is a common fault with flat screens of all types, should not be too expensive, depending on the price and availability of spare parts.

I'm not certain but it sounds like there is a loose video cable in there...if you are able to, take the tv apart, and literally push on all of the connectors and cables to make sure they are not loose. The main video cable may not seem to be loose, but once it is making contact again, it should clear that mess up. Just look for cables running to the main screen and pull them off and put them back. Then put the tv back together again and see if it worked...it usually does. why does this happen? Some blame it on dust, others blame it on quick manufacturing processes...whatever the case, the cables become slightly seperated from the controller board and that happens...it also happens to computer monitors too...Good luck and take your time. If there are a lot of screws and things either take pictures of where they all went or write it down. I like to make a diagram on a piece of paper and tape the screws on the diagram to show where they went.
