You just started dating a great guy, but he only gives you his cell phone number. Maybe you had an odd number come in on your caller ID and all it says is a cellular call. Or maybe you just want to know who's been calling your husband's phone. There are dozens of reasons why you may be looking to track down a person from a cell phone number. Believe it or not, you can do it and all it takes is Internet access.

Call your cell phone provider and ask the representative to trace the number for you if it's coming into your cell phone. Many providers will do this for their customers if the calls come repeatedly or if they're threatening in nature. Visit the Free Cell Phone Lookups website. This website will allow you to search for cell phone owners by first entering the cell phone number in the directory. Enter the cell phone in one of the popular search engines such as Google--include the entire number and ZIP code, if you know it. Sometimes numbers are listed on other websites from people wondering who owns the number. Return the phone call yourself and ask the person why he called. This is obviously the best way to locate the person who has been calling you and it only takes a few minutes.

I need instruction manual to program speed dial

I was unable to locate a user manual for that particular device, however the basic instructions for programming speed dial functions are normally very similar between most phones.

Generally there are ONE TOUCH Speed Dial buttons labelled something like M1, M2, and M3 on the dial pad somewhere.

There should also be another button labelled PROG or STORE on the keypad as well.

Normally to program a number into a ONE TOUCH speed dial memory location you carry out the following procedure:

Lift the handset.

Then press the PROG (or STORE) button.

Now just use the number keypad to dial the full telephone number that you want to store in a Speed Dial location.

Once the full telephone number is dialed, then push the M1 button to store that phone number in the M1 One Touch Speed Dial location.

The phone may or may not show some kind of confirmation that the M1 location was just programmed, then just hang up the handset.

Now when you lift the handset and press the M1 button, the phone should automatically dial the phone number you programmed into it.

Now just repeat the same process for the M2 and M3 One Touch Speed Dial buttons with other phone numbers if necessary.

To change one of the Speed Dial numbers, just carry out the normal programming procedure for that location using the new phone number and the old number will simply be overwritten.

I truly hope that was helpful to you.
Good luck and take care.

Joe.

Two extension number not working

Hi, what causes extension number not working is because the IC that controls the number is damaged and it will need to be replaced.

The IC is a tiny chip located on the board of the phone. To be able to locate where the IC is inside the phone , You will need to unscrew the phone and Locate it.

But it's a little bit more tiny and technical than you expect. You might need to consult a skill personnel for assistance to help you locate the particular IC that is damaged and help you replaced.

Thanks for using fixya........

Need unlock code for 6234 vodafone

You'll need to remove the battery and locate the sticker. On the sticker you should locate a serial number that is called an IMEI or ESN (depending on the phone). Write down the number and call the company that the phone was made for. You should see their name and/or logo on the phone; examples include AT&T, Verizon, etc.

Then, they can provide you with the code and how to put it in.

Programing Speed dial on Walker W1000 Clarity Phones

I solved my problem by trial and error!

Steps to program speed dial on the Walker/Clarity Model W-1000 Touch Tone Sound Amplifier desk set phone w/large number pad.

1. Choose phone number to program including the (#1) digit for a long distance direct dial if
needed.
Write chosen number(s) on a scratch pad as a guide for numbers. Identify numbers with the
names or contact description (ie."Mom's Cell Phone.")

2. Remove hand set receiver from phone.

3. Press "memory set" button ONCE on the phone located uder the receiver on the desk set.

4. Enter phone number chosen, including area codes and long distance prefixes if needed!

5. Locate the speed dial position button you want for that number...(located adjacent to
tag/pad slot for name and/or phone number to be written after entering.

6. Press the speed dial position button (ONCE). Then replace receiver back in craddle.

7. Try out speed/dial program. Pick up receiver, push speed dial button(position) listen to see if
correct phone number is contacted. Once established as correct; program additional speed dial
numbers: ie family, business, as needed.
8. DO NOT TRY TO PROGRAM THE NATIONAL EMERGENCY 911 NUMBER! Keep this in your
own memory!
9. If you make a mistake while entering a phone number: Stop, Hang up phone and start all over
again in the procedure sequence.

10. Remove white "description pad with slots for names or numbers) from underneath clear
plastic cover.(use a paper clip end to lift up plastic cover). Write name/description for that number
on white pad(ie. "Mom's Cell") Use a PENCIL FOR DESCRIPTIONS!!

11. TO SAVE TIME AND INCONVENIENCE TO PERSONS/BUSINESSES OF HAVING TO
ANSWER YOUR CALLS; CHOOSE A AUTOMATED ANSWERING NUMBER (USUALLY A
BUSINESS ANSWERING AUTOMATED SERVICE (IE. LARGE INSTITUTIONAL PHONE
NUMBER THAT HAS A MENU PROMPT usually a AT&T 800 # will have a prompt menu
USE this procedure to see if you program correctly then once you know how; go back and re-
enter all the numbers that you actually want on your speed dial settings.

Uniden Model EXP7900 How do I program button m1

One-Touch Dialing
Your phone is equipped with three .One-Touch Priority. keys for
instant dialing (m1, m2, and m3). You cannot store phone
numbers directly into m1, m2, andm3. They are only used
to dial phone numbers stored into memory locations 1, 2, and 3
on the keypad.
1. To instantly dial phone numbers stored in memory locations
1, 2, or 3, simply press m1, m2, or m3. (There is no need to
press talk, the phone will automatically dial.)
2. If no phone number was stored in memory locations 1, 2, or 3
on the keypad, pressing m1, m2, or m3 will do nothing.

I hope this helps.
