Question about ASUS K8V-MX Motherboard
I am having some problems with my mother board (ASUS K8VMX), its start with, when i trying to save system date and time its not saved and now some time its detecting HDD and CDROM some time not, i have checked my devices with another system its working properly but when i connect any device to my system i have to clear system bios first and then the device is detecting. but frequently i have to do all the procedure. please help me to resolve my problem i know its problem with mother board but don't know how to resolve
Firstly, Put a new battery on your motherboard(usually a cr2032).
Unplug everything except the ram and try to boot up.
Switch off and gradually attach one component at a time and reboot.
Remember to turn off every time you add a component.
This happens because your bios chip is getting mixed up because you are changing the configuration all the time.
Hope this helps
