Firstly, Put a new battery on your motherboard(usually a cr2032).
Unplug everything except the ram and try to boot up.
Switch off and gradually attach one component at a time and reboot.
Remember to turn off every time you add a component.
This happens because your bios chip is getting mixed up because you are changing the configuration all the time.
Hope this helps

I am using ASUS K8VMX motherboard with AMD Athlon 64 2800+ motherboard. Now my motherboard has gone bad. I want to change it. Suggest which motherboard should i use (754 socket)

Whatever board that is in a microATX format and has a 754 socket will do - they all had the same general hardware characteristics and requirements - so get the cheapest you can find.

Front panel Mic not working when connected to Mother Board

Yeah, sounds like the case wasn't designed for that board. Just carefully double check the pins in the manual for the board. If you don't have the manual, check the asus site.

Intel 845 chipset mother board no reaction - expecting solution

Hi,
this is normal No-Ram. No-Beep.
The ram is all part of the bios analysis beep codes.
install memory, and setup the board to the manufacturers specification.
1 beep at post is normal on many bioses.
