Problems with Oracle Applications Installation on ASUS 945 MotherBoard with Intel Dual core 3.0 Ghz Pro...

Hi,
I recently bought a personal computer . The configuration is 250 GB SATA Hard disk, 1 GB Zion RAM, ASUS 945 Mother Board with Intel Dual Core 3.0 GHz Processor.
I've succesffuly got SAP 4.7 Practice version Installed on my computer.

But when trying to load Oracle Applications Practice version, it is aborting in the middle of Installation with Message : " Data Base Corrupt ".

I'm really concerned about this, coz I'm a Oracle Financials Consultnat working in an MNC and i need Oracle installed in my PC to Practice at home.

My Doubt is " Why am i facing problem with Oracle Installation when SAP was installed without any trouble ?
Does ASUS Motherboard not support Oracle Applications Installation as told to me by some persons ??

When one ERP ( SAP ) is loaded succesffuly, there shud'nt be any problem with another ERP ( Oracle ) according to my basic knowledge, because, I use 2 different Operating Systems for both ERPs. ( WINDOWS 2003 SERVER ENTERPRISE EDITION ).

Is it because of using the same Hard disk ( 250 GB ) for both ERPs ? But even before i got SAP installed, i had problems with Oracle Installation. That's the issue here

Do i need to change the Motherboard ? or do i need to purchase another seperate Hard Disk for Oracle Appl. Installation ??

Someone told me that Windows 2003 server - service packet 4 may solve the problem that arised in the middle of Oracle Installation.

Plz suggest a solution to me ASAP. It's urgent for me
