any one of the switches could bad or any number of the switchescould be bad -----the switches i'm talking about are in back of the face plate----- this is one of the most common repairs that i have done on that model- if you want to replace the bad switch/switches they cost about $11.00 each- if you want to get them i have them in stock firstname.lastname@example.org ----if you take the face off the radio check to see if the switches have any spring to them( they probably won't ) the ones that do are good the rest are bad
PLEASE RATE OUR HELP TO YOU OR WE WON"T PARTICIPATE IN THE FUTURE-thank you

That's because the memory wire has not been connected to a permanent live supply.
There will be an ignition switched 12v supply and a memory wire. The first is yellow on many brands and the second is red, but you need to refer to your fitting manual to check or look directly at the wiring harness as the wires are often individually labelled.
Since they both take 12v some folks mistakenly think that they can just be piggy-backed to each other and feed from the same supply. They can, but only if it's to a permanent live feed but that then leaves the risk of the unit being left switched on when the car is parked and draining the battery.

You car stereo security code is specific to your unit and is normally found in the car owner manual along with the engine number.
Providing it is the original car stereo, you can also ask the car manufacturer dealership for the radio security code.
Hope it helps!
