SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

Before we delve in to Routing, something that you should consider when you browser keeps redirecting you is that you could be infected with a Browser ****** Malware.
I would suggest for your piece of mind, that run an antivirus scan on your computer as soon as possible, and avoid checking your email, banking or anything that requires you to put in a password until you are sure your computer is clean.
here are some links to free malware scanning software. http://www.microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-Anti-Malware/3000-8022_4-10804572.html

Connect a LAN cable from your computer's LAN port to your Netgear WiFi extender' LAN port.
Open a browser and enter www.mywifiext.net or www.mywifiext.com
This will get up into the Netgear WiFi extender setup.

Try unplugging BOTH the repeater and the router, Then, plug the router back in and let it establish a connection. Then, plug the repeater in and let it reestablish the connection.

Wifi

it might be the security that is messing it up... try to access users interface of the extender using your NOte... open a browser type in mywifiext.net/start.htm then change the wireless name of the extender to any name and then change the security to wep ... type in on the key 1 box any 10 digits numbers ONLY... and then apply

try to reconnect ur devices to the new extenders name the new password will be the 10 digits number you created. see if that helps... :)

When trying to login to www mywifiext net I get redirected to netgear

I had the same problem,my fix:
Connect your computer/laptop to your internet by a cable.
Connect to your extender via wireless network.
Then open a browser and go to www.mywifiext.net
Now it should load the page without redirecting.

I know this is a old post, but it's the top google link when searching for this problem. If someone would have told me, it would have saved me a lot of time and rage!

Have you first established the connection between the Router and the Extender?
If so, have you connected e.g. a laptop to the Extender?
So if your WLAN networks SSID is NETGEAR, the WLAN network of the Extender is NETGEAR_EXT and you have to connect the laptop to NETGEAR_EXT.
Then you have to open your favorit internet browser and have to type in www.mywifiext.net, which I guess is a buildin Setup-Assistant.If this doesn't work, make sure, your laptop is configured, to get an ip address automatically via DHCP.
