Dla-g15 comes on but do not start (by 2 users)

when i put my dla-g15 on the standby ligth goes on when i put operate on it come and goes off instantly can you tell me whats wrong i have installed a new lamp still the same problem

I love my JVC G15. Suddenly the projector does not turn on. The lamp is fairly new (<200 hours). The standby Green light is on but when you press it - it turns Orange to operate but the fan does not kick on or the light comes on. Occasionally I hear some clicking trying to turn on. Help me! Thanks.

Gurudoes the cooling fan come on at all during the instant that it turns on for?
If not then the problem is almost certainly overheating, depending on exactly how long it takes to turn off - is it so "instantly" that it is before you get your finger off the button, or is it a couple of seconds or so.
If the fan does come on then so long as you are fairly sure all filters etc are clean the most likely problem is the lamp is not installed correctly or there could be a fault in the temperature sensor. check the lamp installation instructions and make sure you have followed them exactly.
post back and we can look for more info if you need it :)
