Two of the most common causes of I/O (Input / Output) device errors are driver based. Typically, either the device's driver is not enabled or it is out of date. The driver component has an important function, as it acts as a motor like force that propels USB/plug-and-play hardware into a driving action within the computer. It is the connecting communicating link signaling the CPU to a desired movement. And while not all I/O device error solutions are simplistic, as a good starting point, you can try troubleshooting using a few basic steps, and you might not need to attempt anything else.
Access "Control Panel" from the Start menu and then choose "Performance and Maintenance." Click "System" and then go to the Hardware tab and click on "Device Manager." Find the device that is registering an error by expanding the nodes of the appropriate category. If the device has a red "X" on the icon next to its description, the hardware is disabled; Otherwise, Go to the General tab and click "Enable Device" found under the Device Status section; then press "OK." (Note: You may have to follow prompts, as indicated through an enabling device wizard. If you do, continue to click "Next" and follow the prompts until the process has completed.) Test the hardware. If an error is shown. Go to the General tab and click "Troubleshoot" found under the Device Status section then press "OK." Follow the prompts to solve the issue. If an error is still shown Go to the Driver tab and click "Update Driver." Follow the prompts until the process has completed and then test the hardware. Hope this helps.

Error code 010 398

The only suggestion I have would be to reboot the machine and try again. In a lot of cases any error codes AKA Fault Codes begining with 010- point to a major mechanical error.
-
Nothing specific sayiing so in my research, if a reboot doesn't bring the machine back up your next step would be to contact your Xerox service technician to go onsite to resolve.
-
If you're not holding a maintenance agreement on the WCP device
Check with the person you bought the device from to see if there is anything they can do to assist.
-
The WCP device you have is an older model and if you are experiencing problems with it on a regular bases you may want to contact Xerox and see if there is a possible upgrade strategy they can assist with and get you into a newer model with out breaking the bank so to speak. ????

I hope this helps.

Husqvarna viking diamond deluxe embroidery machine main motor overload

I'm not familiar with the Diamond machine but suggest the following. The motor is overheating. Is the sewing machine cord plugged directly into an outlet or are you using extension cords? Voltage drop due to long or light duty cords can cause the motor to run hot.
Can you trun the handwheel freely? If not, there is friction or binding in the machine that needs to be corrected. The blank screen and reboot are simply protection devices like a circuit breaker in your home electrical circuits. Find the source of the problem!

02 : the transceiver circuit error of the RFID reader.
03 : communication error between the RFID reader and the Tag chip.

USB ports not working, slow computer

The error you are getting is the USB port driver. I suggest disconnecting ALL of the items you have connected to ALL of the USB ports and rebooting. If the computer reboots normally, go back and install ONE and ONLY one USB device. Restart your machine. If it boots OK, shut down, remove that device and connect another one, restart again. Do this for EACH of the USB devices until you find one that causes the computer to boot slowly and/or generates the error message. That one is the culprit and needs to be repaired before reattaching to your system.

If, however, after removing all of the USB devices initially and rebooting, you still get the error message, then you have a USB driver problem. You will need to remove the USB driver and reinstall from a known good location (like HP's website) to fix the driver problem.

Canon pixma MP600, error code 5010, what does it mean ? Can not turn the printer on for any other purpose, no scanning, copying or printing.

There are a few things you can try:
  1. Power reset; press and hold the Power button until it the machine starts a diagnostic mode; if this doesn't turn on the machine, unplug it for 10 minutes and upon plugging it back in, see if the error reset itself
  2. Unplug all USB devices (including the printer) and reboot the computer. Once the computer has rebooted, plug in the printer, allow it to install (it should install automatically) and see if the error is corrected. Sometimes there can be a temporary conflict and the only way to solve it is to remove all other USB devices (this can work for external hard drives too).
The overall issue with error code#5010 is a scanner malfuntion. If the problem returns, check the ribbon cable as it runs from your scanner to the main logic board. If all is secure and you still have the problem, the printer may need a new logic board.

System shuts down after surfing the internet

Regarding the error code, all you need to do is update your driver. You can do this by downloading the most up to date driver from motorola here.

Unfortunately, it seems like this might be two seperate issues.

Sometimes machines, especially laptops but it will happen to desktops as well, will shutdown when they are overheated in an attempt to prevent damage to the physical hardware. Judging by the "after about 15 minutes" comment, I think this might have something to do with it as that 15 minute window would give a non-functioning fan or unventilated laptop enough time to overheat your machine.

If the driver update does not stop the random rebooting and you do not think the machine is hot when it reboots, do this:

right-click My Computer and choose Properties; click the Advanced tab. In Vista, click the Start button, type System, Properties, Advanced, and press Enter. Click Continue if prompted by User Account Control.

In all versions, click the Settings button under 'Startup and Recovery'. Uncheck the Automatically restart box, and click OK twice. The next time the problem occurs, instead of rebooting you will likely see a text screen reporting a system error. Report back with what error it gives you.

Good luck!
