Question about HP Compaq Presario V2403NR Notebook
The chipset on that board should support any Pentium/Celeron M 400/533MHz FSB processor. The laptop itself may not be engineered to provide adequate cooling of any processor faster than what is installed stock though. Upgrading laptop CPUs can be a risky proposition unless you are ready and willing to cook the board and/or processor in the event that it cannot dissipate the increased heat generated by a faster processor.
