Question about Massagenius Furniture
We had a power surge to the main power line to our house during a storm. The chair had been left plugged in, so it started moving on its own, at 110 volts and 220 volts. The chair no longer turns on.

The reason for this is the power overwhelmed the circuit boards and burnt them out you may need to talk to someone up the Game shops or go to support.microsoft.com and see what other people think. even if microsoft tell you to DONT send it in for repair as it gets rattled in the post and rattling the console causes the Open Tray Error an extremley annoying error. hope this helps

The least of your problems would be a burnt out relay or internal switch which can be replaced at reasonable expense. In a worst case the motor or heating element "fried" and it'll be cheaper to buy a new dryer.
BTW 110 and 220 plugs are entirely different and a 110 plug cannot be plugged into a 220 outlet.

After checking with Dyson, it appears it can be fixed but depending on the age, it might be more cost effective to just buy a new one. There are not a lot to the dyson vaccums to repair. Plugging the vac into double the voltage would have fried the motor and that will need to be replaced. There is not reset or surge protector. With shipping and replacement of the motor, we would recommend a new vac. Good luck and sorry!

the beeping means that the remote needs to be replaced. check the wire for bit marks or pinches. they are user replaceable. just go to the human touch website and call their numbers

The massaging is done by small motors with eccentric weights attached to the shafts. Those motors are controlled thru a very simple control board that in your case appears to have failed.
To fix the chair you will have to access the board and find out why it has failed - at least a basic experience in electronics is required, to perform the tests on the relays and triacs used to control the motors. If you don't posses this experience then all you can do is to check that the power cable, the remote cable and the motors cables that plug in the board are firmly inserted - for everything else you will have to call a pro.
