GOT A Eee PC1008HA MY TOUCHPAD WONT WORK BUT CAN MOVE CURSER IF I CONNECT A MOUSE.THANK YOU

Sometimes you can configure the sensitivity of the Mouse pad from Control Panel, Go there and look for applet MOUSE, if it is hardware issue, you can visit the website of the maker of your Laptop, and go for Support Page with Drivers, specifically issued for Mouse or Touch pad or In put. Most new Computer Systems now have Online Support which can detect the Problem of your Computer. Download the Detect Software... Once you upgraded the Drivers for the Board. let us say ASUS, the Bios will fix and update your Hardware. Just be careful sometimes, this is irreversible, meaning cannot uninstall the Drivers for BIOS, or on Board Software.

My laptop doesn't detect my gigaware wireless mouse anymore

Have you tried the mouse in another computer to verify that it is working? Are the batteries good in the wireless mouse? If these check out okay, got to the device manager and look for issues with unknown devices. If there is software needed to make the mouse work, you can try reinstalling the software, too.

My compuetr doesnt detect my mouse.

check whether any other USB devices are being detected. First let me know whether your mouse is PS/2 or USB. If it is USB try any other USB devices and check whether they are detected or not. If they are not detected the problem is with the USB installers , reformat your PC again . this solves your issue.
