Question about Polaris New Genuine Polaris Snowmobile Accessories / X Treme Sidecut / Out of Bound
I have a 05 rmk 900 and i just had the stator and the flywheel replaced and now my sled runs like s**t. when i start it it will start but the lights and the gauges all flash on off on off wont stay on unless on the throttle. need some help cost me 958 dollars to get the stator and fly wheel installed at polaris and really dont want to take it in again

try bypassing the kill switch and the ignition switch. Often the switches fail before the other components. the ignition can usually be bypasses by simply unplugging it from the harness. You may have to loop the wires to bypass the kill switch.

There are two "recommended" methods.. both are used...
1. Stuff a 1/2" hose down the coolant bottle and siphon it out. Then remove the bottom hose and repeat the process.
Cleanest way i've found.
2. From Canada: Take your wet/dry shop vac. clean it really good. crack the hose connection at the head and thermostat while you hold the end of the shop vac there, and it will suck out all the coolant, and no mess in the engine bay.
