Question about Eclipse Audio Players & Recorders
I was able to connect and download music and a video file on my new mp3 player. After I disconnected it it worked fine. Half an hour after turning it off, it won't turn on or connnect on my laptop. My computer fails to intall the driver properly.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

The Phillips Go Gear is not compatible to Windows Vista, and there is nothing one can download to make it compatible. I contacted Phillips, and they said that there are no plans to update the software so that it works on Vista. Pass this to everyone that is having a similar problem. Contact Phillips on their website, and request that the Phillips Go Gear software be updated to include Windows Vista. If more people raise a stink (especially threatening never to buy Phillips products), maybe something will be done.

SOURCE: I download all my music
The problem could be that the music files you copied were not in mp3 file format and that is it cannot see these music files.
You can download mp3 music files off the Internet to your computer and thne copy them to your player.
You can convert your CDs for free and copy them to your MP3 player. Please click on this link and follow my instructions :-

SOURCE: I have downloaded music into
You have to follow both steps on the instruction manual. When you first plug it into your computer it prompts you to name it. Then sync the music files off of Windows Media player..then you must do the second part where it explains about copying and pasting the music to it..this link opens the pdf manual that explains it just like the directions that came with it. http://www.eclipsemp3.com/CLD2manual.pdf
I think people are getting confused and thinking that step is only suppose to be used if they can't sync it ..but you actually have to do that part too or the files won't go onto the MP3 player.

First of all try it on a different computer, if that still doesn't work try Formating the mp3 and reseting it to the default settings through the System tools menu.
Anyway here is a link to the manual in-case you need it: www.gpx.com%2Fowners_manuals%2FML651B-IB.pdf

SOURCE: I just bought an eclipse
This is a case where this should go back to the store, one option to try is all MP3 players have a reset switch somewhere on the chassis, a safety pin is bigger enough to slip in. When found press and hold for 60 seconds, If this fails take it back because there is nothing more that can be done.
