1.Check the device's battery level for at least two bars of strength.
2.If the battery level is low, charge the battery.
3.If the issue is not resolved, remove the back cover.
4.Remove the battery.
5.Wait 10 seconds.
6.Press and hold the W key.
7.While pressing down the W key, re-insert the battery.
•The device restarts and after approximately 15 seconds, the 'Recovery' screen appears
•Release the power button but *continue holding the home button*, for another 30 seconds.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

How To Save Battery On Your iPhone or iPod Touch

Is your iPhone or iPod Touch's battery level always depleting quickly? Do you not have enough juice to get you through the day? Here are some quick tips to conserve your battery life and help you get through the day while you are Facebooking, sending texts, and calling.

First, lets make sure you can monitor your batter level. This is how you will turn on the percentage of battery display.

1. Go to your home-screen.

2. Open up the Settings App.

3. Tap General then Usage

4. Where it says battery percentage, make sure the switch is in the on position.

Now that you can monitor your battery life, here are a few things you should continually do to save battery.

• Don't keep multiple apps running if you don't have to. iPhones and iPod Touches have multitasking to run multiple apps at once, but this can use a lot of battery. To delete tasks, double tap the home button and then hold down an icon at the bottom of the screen. Once the apps begin to wiggle, tap the X by the app to stop the task (note: this won't delete the app, it will only stop it from running).

• Another battery saving setting is not fetching email quite as often, I mean, do you really need to check your email every 15 minutes or hour? Fetching data uses a lot of battery, to disable or not as frequently fetch for data, go to the Settings app again. Go to Mail, Contacts, Calendars then Fetch New Data and set it to Manually so to check email, go to the email app and click the refresh button.

• Your iPhone has an adjustable brightness, and a higher brightness wastes more battery, to change the brightness: go to your Settings app. Go to Brightness and turn your brightness down. You don't necessarily need to turn it all the way down(especially when you are in bright lighting conditions, kind of ironic that you need higher brightnesses in brighter environments), but if you are in a pitch black room, then there is no reason to have the brightness above the minimum level.

• Another good habit is turning off bluetooth and wifi when you are not using them, to do this, go to your Settings app again. Go to Wi-Fi and turn of wifi. To turn of bluetooth, go to General then Bluetooth and turn it off.

• If you don't necessarily use an app a lot or at all, turn off Push Notifications. To do this scroll all the way down on your Settings app, and choose that particular app. This will only be useful on an app that gets information from the internet. In the particular app that you chose, usually there will be a Push Notifications option, and you can disable this, this will help your battery because your iPhone constantly tries to search for data with these on. Also, when installing apps, you can disable this then.

• Another good way to save battery (iPhone only) is to switch from the 3g(fast internet)radio to Edge(slower internet) radio. On the iPhone, you have twice as much battery with Edge radio. To change between the two, go to your Settings app once again. Go to General then Network and where it says Enable 3g switch it to off. You can/should do this when you aren't heavily surfing the internet, checking Facebook, or downloading apps. Don't use this with apps that require heavy internet usage.

• One final tip to conserve battery is changing the amount of time until the iPhone/iPod Touch goes into sleep mode. If you forget to put it in sleep mode, it will stay on and waste battery in your pocket, etc. To change the amount of time to save battery, go to your Settings app again. Go to General then Auto-Lock and change it to something short such as 1 or 2 minutes.

These tips will significantly prolong your battery, use them to your advantage.
When i try to download a picture via mms i get a 401 error on my virgin mobile samsung intercept

Intercepts apparently won't download or upload when connected to wifi. Perhaps the telephone tries to connect to the network over the internet and the network naturally returns an "Unauthorized" error? I don't know but the problem clears up immediately when I turn off wifi.

Downloading books

If you have the 3G model of Kindle then you can download books using 3G which is like you would use with a mobile phone.

If you don't have 3G then you will need to connect to a WiFi network in order to download books directly to the Kindle. See the Connecting With WiFi Guide for details of how to do so.

You can also transfer books directly from your PC to your Kindle using a USB lead - see the video guide on how to do this.

Internal 3g modem not working

HI...........................

YOUR SOLUTION IS

1. The missing WiFi adapter you're looking for is the Broadcom 4313 (802.11b/g/n). download the drivers for it.

If that doesn't work try goggling for the HP package called "sp47895.exe"

2. Install the driver and reboot your machine

If it still doesn't work:

3. Install the HP Connection Manager. This can be found on the HP driver page for the ProBook 6560b.
4. Open HP Connection Manager, and enable the WiFi card (if needed).

A couple of weeks ago YouTube mobile stopped working in Safari on my iphone4. Why? How do I fix it? Even though I have the app I used to use both.

Most likely, you are not the only one with this problem. Just last month, mobile facebook was down for iOS users for around 3 weeks. They had been updating the site, so it had to be taken down. The same may be happening for youtube. Google put A LOT of updates to youtube in the past year, but not that many on their mobile site, so it's probebly getting a full restoration. Sadly, you'll probebly will have to stick with the native youtube app for now, but check the site daily to see if it's up and running . It should be good in a few days.

If this isn't the case, just turn off the iPhone for a little while, or download opera or another browser and use that for youtube instead (This sometimes works). You can also switch from 3g to wifi and see if it's your connection.

If nothing else seems to help the problem, sorry, but you'll have to wait it out and see what happens over the course of the next month or two:-(. Sorry!

Hope This Helps!

I have connected my iPod Touch 4G to my WiFi & the signal was perfect, but then when i tried to open my applications it will just keep on loading. The apps didn't open, i can't use any of my...

If the apps are not opening then the problem is not your WiFi.
Whenever things don't work as expected, it's always a good idea to reboot the equipment that is giving the problem.
An iPhone is no different.
Press the power button on the rop edge and keep it pressed. Keep it pressed and ignore any messages that appear on the screen. Keep it pressed whenthe Apple Logo appears. When your normal desktop appears - thewn let go.
Se what happens after that.

Make sure you are connected to Wi-Fi or 3g. To connect to wifi, go to the Settings App and click wifi, and turn it on. If you are on your iPhone make sure you have signal.
