Question about Technics Audio Players & Recorders
I've got a Technics SU-X840 integrated power amplifier that I got off a friend. They said they hadn't used it for a while and when we powered it up there was a blast of very loud music (from the radio getting a signal), and then the amp shut down. After that I can't power up the amp at all, although the other separates do still draw power through the unit. What should I be looking for? Many thanks.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

It sounds like the switch might be broken. It might need to be replaced.
