Question about SteelSeries Radio Communications
I really need help with a problem I have with my headphones! I have a SteelSeries Siberia V2 USB headset. An example of my problem: I record something through Camtasia and want my voice to be recorded when the background noise is included. When I have headphones connected via USB to the computer, I hear only my voice, also includes background noise. But there is always a strong, loud noise coming from something that sounds to be the computer's fan. When I disconnect the USB device and uses standard audio port on the sound card, I can record the background noise with very high quality. However, I can not record my voice simultaneously. If anyone knows what this problem might be, I would be eternally grateful if that person could tell what it was. I have my suspicions that it is a driver I need to download. Thank you for taking the time to read and help.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Pcs needs drivers, and vista is far from being completely stable..
Disconnect the mobile pre...and go here:
then restart and connect.
Rock those beats, and keep me posted.

SOURCE: DELL 630m audio problem
It may be that your PC is now reading the mike as a crystal mike and the signal is too strong. Try to attenute the signal by pluging the mike into a mixer box to reduce the signal strength.

There are a lot of people having the same problem with Vista. Check this link for some ideas. I think there is a new on Microsoft update that addresses this issue under audio drivers that gives you more controls in the playback devices tab. Here is the first link:http://forums.techarena.in/vista-hardware-devices/865259.htm Here is another:http://social.answers.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/vistamedia/thread/217c4402-6668-4592-bd5e-9234247c788f and finally the one that was easiest to understand:http://www.roemersoftware.com/vista-recording-problem.html My son has the same problem with his Compaq laptop and I am truly glad I stuck with XP. Please let me know how you make out.
