The vertical ic of my jvc tv model no. av f21mx5 are always burn even i replace a new one

Just check the supply voltage input to the vertical IC. If it is more than normal, this type of fault can occur. Just compare this voltage . The TV schematic will help you to find this detail. Check whether the IC is firmly screwed on to its metal heat sink.

Toshiba crt tv wont turn on or off. red button keeps flashing and clicking

Hello
There are two possibilities for the fault symptom. The first one is, with a short ted component, Horizontal Output Transistor. This transistor can be located very near to LOT [Line Output Transformer] which in turn dirves the LOT. The second one is with LOT itself. Both are irreparable components, and replacing them with same type and number is the only work that can be done. OK.

There is a horizontal line in the mid

Hello

The vertical scan of your TV has failed. All picture tube type TVs have both horizontal and vertical scan sections to scan the picture on the secreen. When horizontal scan fails, you will see a vertical line at the middle of the screen, and if vertical scan fails, there will be a horizontal line through the middle of the screen. In your TV, the second stated has happened.
This may be due to an IC trouble or a voltage loss inside the printed circuit board of your TV. To rectify this fault you have to open your TV, and locate the vertical output section inside it. It is very easy to locate that section. There will be four wires goes from the deflection yoke; the coil fitted at the neck of the picture tube; out ot which, two will be thick and the other two will be thin. The thick wires are usually colour coded as red and blue. Colour coding may differ from set to set. Anyway you have to follow the tow thin wires, as they are carrying vertical scan signal to the yoke.
Following it, you will reach to a plug in point on the printed circuit board. Upside down the printed circuit board, and follow the track through which that wire connection goes, and finally you will reach to the vertical output section.
There may be transistors or IC used on that section. First check the voltage at the vertical output section. Voltage lose also may occur in this section. If it uses IC, check for any loose or bad solderings at the terminals of the IC. I advice you to resoder the suspected points by applying a little more solder, without shorting the terminals. In most cases this will solve the problem. If there is voltage, and there is no loose solderings and still the fault perists, replace the IC or transistors, whatever it may be, with same type and number.

Vertical line in center have replaced vertical output ic

If the line is vertical then the problem is no horizontal deflection. The vertical chip is probably fine.

Check connections around yoke (thats the connector with at least four wires that goes up to the coils around the neck of the tube)

Maybe that TV has two horizontal output transistors. One for deflection and one for high voltage? Check both of them. Look for bad solder joints!!!

Check for the cracked solder joints on the IC or dried capacitors on the vertical side

Hii...

I'm absolutly have no idea whit thos tv set ( Orion ) but...your problem looks like mall function at the vertical circuits....can you see the ic or transistor nearst the FBT ? or you can type all the ic number/type and the Chassis of the tv set olso the Transistor around the Fly Back Transformer ?!

I hope it's can help you..
Hear from you soon

No sound

you need to check the sound ic in that audio section. check how much voltage you are getting on the legs of that ic. you need at least three voltages. about 32 volts. if you are getting that then replace the ic righ away. if you are not getting it, then you need to check around that ic to find out what is keeping the voltage from reaching that ic. good luck

Television troubleshooting

the symptom is usually caused by a breakdown in the power supply circuit. in most modern receivers (transistorized and/or ic), it may also be caused by a breakdown in the horizontal deflection circuits (hor. oscillator, pre-drive, or drive circuits). supply voltages for the tuner, vif, sif, and vertical output are usually supplied by the horizontal output circuit. but if you doesnt know anything about these stuffs, better bring it to a qualified service tecnhician
