Question about Samsung Televison & Video

1 Answer

TV turning on and off.

When I turn off my TV it takes at least and hour for me to be able to turn it back on. And sometimes it won't turn on at all. I have to unplug it or it will just keep trying to come back on and off. What do I do?

We have the RCA HD52w59 projection tv. The tv shuts itself off at different intervals. It takes approximately 1 minute to be able to turn the power button back on, however, I have to do that many times...

A problem in the deflection board. Could be a Cap. Resoldering the deflection board may take care of the problem. You need to call a TV man to do this kind of work.

Best of luck

if you know anything about the tv, take off the back and remove the power supply board. Reflow or resolder the solder points, takes like 2 hours, but is well worth it as my tv works fine now. make sure to use rosin core solder and good luck
