How do I access the Hue Hub when I'm not on the same wifi network?
Unfortunately you can't control the lights from the app unless you're on the same wifi network as the bridge and lights. You can control the lights from the Hue website though, but you must set it up from the same network. When you're near the bridge go to http://meethue.com and go through the setup process. I don't know why they don't let you do this through the app. Hopefully they'll add that feature soon.

Once there shoose the type of remote you have and select remote codes to get the ones for that particular remote that may operate the piece of equipment desired.
