After downloading 2 songs purchased from amazon, player wont start or play music. Further, if I insert player's usb cable into computer I receive a message to format the disk. this is the second player this has happen to me both under a year old and well maintained. Something is going on it is like the software on the device was erased or something. Any advise would be appreciated. thx

(With the Device plugged in.)
Try going to MY COMPUTER. On the left side, there should be a scroll. Scroll down until you see GPX. Double Click. Then double click on REMOVABLE STORAGE, Double click on MUSIC and you should be able to rearrange items from there.
What I Do:
Once there, I look at the scroll on the left again. I open the folders of the bands and highlight all the songs in the folder and drag them to the left hand scroll and deposit them into the MUSIC folder.
