Question about Breadman Bread Maker Machine TR2700 Stainless-Steel Programmable

1 Answer

My breadman TR2700 has a metal piece to which the spatula attaches and which turns. It keeps falling out. I think it's missing some sort of washer, but I don't remember losing it.

The metal piece that turns the spatula and comes through the hole in the bottom of the baking bowl keeps falling out. I cannot put anything into the bowl now b/c the piece falls out and the stuff leaks out the bottom.

Often these have a "C" clip that sits in a groove. These sometimes break. Pieces goes... somewhere... in the last loaf?

SOURCE: Breadman Ultimate bread pan leaks.

Remove the rubber washer that fits around the center post, split it into the two halves and glue a #31 O-ring (9/16ODx5/16IDx1/8) to the bottom washer. This worked on my pan on a TR2828 and are no longer available. It worked for mne so far.

Yes, the C-clip holds the shaft for the paddle in place. I think the only relevant replacement part is the entire pan. Expensive!

Have Breadman TR2200c. The red drive shaft "seal" in the bottom of the bread pan seems intact. The drive shaft stopped turning. I forced it out of the shaft tunnel, and the clip was rotted. 3...

I think you're going to have to take out the seal and put a new retaining ring on the shaft to keep it from falling out the bottom. If you're lucky you'll be able to pull out the old seal without destroying it.
A 5/16" external retaining ring should do the trick. Hardware store or Lowes should have 'em. Depending on how difficult you find it to force the ring down into the well in the pan to put in the shaft's groove, you may need a retaining ring pliers. The cheap ones from Harbor Freight (around $3) work fine.

I have the TR2700 and the bread is doughy no matter what recipe is used. Is there a solution?

Let's start with your flour. Pleas advise if you are using "all purpose flour", or "bread flour" in your recipes?
