Sounds like there is a problem the computer is seeing that is making it put the car into "limp home mode" to protect the car from damage due to failing components.

The problem is with the VSA(traction) module located on the lower passenger kick panel. Alot of moisture and dirt collects in that area causing the connecting terminals to rust and/or corrode making the connecting pins to break off. In short t, the module needs to replaced. Once replaced, other programming is necessary to complete the repair.

2004 acura tl 6speed standard. VSA light/triangle light/parking brake light come on.

your vsa is vehicle stability assist that works with the abs system, verify brake calipers for proper functioning, sounds like breaks stick and cant return efficiently after breaking, vsa is a traction control light, if both lights remain on without flashing, those systems are disabled due to a problem, scan vehicle for possible abs sensor malfunction

Vsa,abs, and brake all work off of the same sensor. You have a problem with one of the following system. Vsa vehicle stability assist, abs anti lock brakes, or the brakes themselves. My guess is either the abs or vsa

Check engine light, triangle with an exclamation point inside, VSA light, d flashing on dashboard on a Honda pilot?

It's the Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) My Honda Accord has a button next to the steering wheel that will turn it on or off.

Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA)[1] with traction control, which helps sense oversteer and understeer conditions, then brakes individual wheels and/or reduces throttle input to help restore your intended path of travel.

I have a 2014 Ridgeline SE with 8,900 miles.
Says low brake oil but it's full, and VSA is messed up.
I say it's a VSA computer program problem.

2007 Honda Pilot VSA Stays on with the Triangle

A hazard warning could just mean an oxy sensor...I would inspect the vehicle ft. to back ...check brakes and all ...make sure all vacumn hoses and plugs /wires /and brakes are good. Then disconnect the negative battery cable to reset the system....If it comes back on it is probably just an O2 sensor going bad....meaning oxygen sensor...this is an air fuel mixture sensor which is common to go bad on all cars and trucks......No big deal....Hope this helps ....Metalpoet

The yellow triangle with an exclamation point is lit up - what does this mean?

The Vehicle Stability Assist system is turned off. Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is an electronic stability control system that works in conjunction with the Pilot's drive-by-wire throttle and its 4-channel ABS systems to enhance controllability while the vehicle is accelerating, braking, cornering or when the driver makes a sudden maneuver. VSA functions by applying brake force to one or more wheels independently while also managing the throttle, ignition and fuel systems to help the vehicle maintain the driver's intended path of travel.

You need to find the VSA button on the dash and push it, this will activat the VSA and turn off the yellow light.

WHATS IS THE MEANING OF VAS

Standard Vehicle Stability Assist™ (VSA ®) with Traction Control and Brake Assist Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA) is an electronic stability control system that works in conjunction with the Pilot's drive-by-wire throttle and its 4-channel ABS systems to enhance controllability while the vehicle is accelerating, braking, cornering or when the driver makes a sudden maneuver. VSA functions by applying brake force to one or more wheels independently while also managing the throttle, ignition and fuel systems to help the vehicle maintain the driver's intended path of travel.

The VSA system constantly analyzes data from seven sensors that monitor wheel and vehicle speed, steering input, lateral G forces and yaw rate. It compares the driver's control inputs with the vehicle's actual response. Whenever the actual response falls outside of a predetermined acceptable range, VSA intervenes with a corrective action.

For instance, if VSA detects an oversteer condition, the system may apply braking force to the outside front and rear wheels to counteract the unintended yawing effect. In the event of understeer, VSA may apply braking to the inside rear wheel while reducing engine power to help return the car to its intended course. VSA also provides a limited-slip differential effect for the front wheels by applying braking force to a slipping wheel, thereby redirecting driving force to the wheel with more traction.

There is a button on the lower left part of the dashboard that says "VSA". Push it and the triangle will dissappear (this should only be turned off if you are using a spare tire that is smaller than the rest of the tires).

Good luck.

Unknown light

this is for the vehicle stability (VSA) system.AKA electronic stability control. It adjusts engine speed and brakes to keep the car under control. When this is on steady, it means your VSA system is off, when it blinks on and off, it means your system is on and making adjustments, if it's on w/ VSA light, there is a problem w/ the system. countrycurt0
