Question about GE Refrigerators
It is freezing everythin and it is one door bottom freezer
Is it freezing everything in the fridge as well? if so i had the same problem with my side by side fridge a while back. the appliance repair man told me to vaccuum the fridge underneath and all the other parts behind i did and it seemed to work well after that. also have you checked your temp controlls in the fridge.

Hi. Its either a bad motherboard or control board. I would check the control board for any obvious signs of damage to the board first. I've seen the control board go blank on the GE side by side and it turned out to be the motherboard. The motherboard is located behind a cover on the back of your refrigerator cabinet. You should have a new motherboard on hand at all times because they fail alot. Be sure to put a surge protector on your refrigerator. Good Luck, Mack

It almost sounds as if the magnetic gaskets aren't as they should be.
Most all combination units have a path between the two parts of them to allow circulation of air, the amount or rato of which, is controlled by an adjustment that really just makes a duct larger or smaller so temperatures can be balanced to fall within the range needed by each.
Check to see if, when closed slowly, the gasket surfaces are parallel to the steel of the housing.
If not, there is normally a little adjustment possible at the hinge mountings.

SOURCE: Freezer leaking on Ge Profile
The drain is frozen over and water cannot escape when it defrosts. You will need to remove the back panel inside the freezer and run some hot water down the drain until it has thawed. Hope this helps
