SOURCE: No Manual

hello! the best thing you should see the store from where you have purchased your kit. most stores do includes manual which are clear and really handy and accurate..giving all the details on how to do that thing.. thanks! you may fix the other parts if no manual is available through simply doing it with a common sense..you just have to join it by using stick glue.

Install a new hatch on your boat

Replacing old and damaged hatches on your boat is not a difficult or time consuming task. You will only need a few tools to replace the hatch. You will need some starboard (poly-sheets), screws, hinges, a drill, a saw, a screw driver, sealant and a sander.

Using the old hatch cover as a guide draw an outline on the starboard for your new hatch cover. Then using a saw and a guide cut out the hatch covers and sand the corners down so they aren't sharp and to round the edges all the way around.

If you need to add a finger hole to lift the hatch, measure and mark the place where you want to add the hole. Using a hole saw drill out the hole and sand out the inside and edges to make sure there are no sharp or jutting edges.

Go to the boat and using epoxy or an equivalent sealant to fill the old screw holes. Wait for the sealant to cure before moving on to the next step.

Lay the hatch cover over the hole on the boat and align the hinge and draw in where the screws go. Take your drill and make a hole for the screws to go in. fill the holes with sealant and screw the screws into the holes through the hinge. If there is any sealant overflow wipe it up carefully with a cloth. On the other side of the hinge repeat the previous steps being careful not to drill all the way through.

Once you have attached both of the hinges you are all ready to go!

Happy sailing!

Need instructions for St Petersburg Church woodcraft construction

I have done this model, and the answer above is correct. While it is true that many of the pieces go together without glue, glue is required to keep some from falling apart while working. It is advisable to start without glue to make sure you have things connected properly. The kit comes with a very small tube - I got some carpenters glue when this ran out.
The pieces are labeled (on the back of the box) with letter number combination. The final number for each letter is inconsistent; the letters correspond mostly to construction groups. Be aware that some pieces which are apparently spacers inside others are actually important pieces. They get numbers, but are sometimes hard to see.
Good luck with your puzzle!

There is only one number 20 and i dont know where to connect it to.

After lots of staring and wondering, I figured this out. On the big piece that makes up the bottom center of the boat, there are labels for 19, 23, and 24, but numbers 20, 21, and 22 are missing. If you look closely, that label actually shows 19-23, 24. It means 19 through 23. You are supposed to stack up the parts labeled 20, 21, 22, 23, and 24, and connect them all to the bottom of the boat where the label 19-23, 24 appears. This worked for me - I hope it helps you or someone else who looks here when they get stuck on this same problem!

I have found the plans for the Seattle Space needle woodcraft construction kit 3d puzzledo not give any detail as to what pieces fit to in relation to other pieces just what reference to the front picture...

I bought space needle model #814901 and was able to put most of it together using the pattern on the back and the pic on the front. I was able to match the numbers/letters for the most part. I have ended up with an extra circle, and some numbers that have no corresponding #s. Still, the end-product does look pretty much like the one on the front. I bought this model in the gift shop at the space needle. I saw a completed one downhill in an expresso shop on the waterfront across from the sculpture garden. I go to Seattle a couple of times a year and plan to check out the expresso shop again.

I am looking at a cabin cruiser with the view to buying same. Have been told that it is a cut down version of a Challenger yacht (40) Is their such an animal? Don

It may be that the seller is referring to the Challenger 40 sailboat, which came with either a marconi or ketch sail rig. Compare the deck layout, photos at the bottom of page, and the specifications with the boat on:
http://www.sailboatlistings.com/cgi-bin/saildata/db.cgi?db=default&uid=default&view_records=1&ID=14024&mh=1
...then it is the same or similar, this may be the boat referred to by the seller. There are also go-fast power boats with the name Challenger, but not something that a re-make would produce a nice cabin cruiser from.
