Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
Whirlpool dryer model number LER5848EQ2, will not start when I press the start button, I have checked the circut breaker and it is plugged in, I set the timer and all that happens is I get a clicking sound when I press the start button.
Frist check the door switch in sure it is working if it is good unplug the dryer remove the back cover where the vent comes out there is a little white fuse with 2 wires on it. it is oblong and most of the tim the 2 wires are blue replace this fuse and your dryer should work fine.

Hi, UNPLUG the dryer! Remove the rear panel of the dryer and locate the fuse. It is white and ¼” wide and 3” long. It is located on the blower housing. Remove the wires and check to see if it has continuity. If it does not, you need to replace it.
