Question about GE Washing Machines
The machine will not complete a wash cycle - specifically, it over fills with water, seems to skip the wash cycle completely, drains, but doesn't spin. Sometimes it will pause and the light will flash. I have checked the test mode for the problems and it states: -E22 : fill timeout -E23 : flood protect drain -E31 : drain timeout I have already emptied and checked the pump filter (it was clean). I also tried to run a T08, and T09, but it wouldn't do anything....any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated! Thanks :)

You need to replace the Motor controller speed asm part number 134149220 they are about 165.00. very easy part to replace you have to remove the back panel and the control board is on the bottom left side two scews and two plugs.

With the symptoms you describe i would suspect a intermittent heater element fault as you are getting earth leakage current which is tripping the whole supply rather than a current overload which would just trip the socket circuit breaker. Get the heating element checked over first as this is the most likely cause.
