Question about Emerson EWC19T3 19 in. TV/VCR/DVD Combo
TV: Sony Wega
I spilled over and at the sides of the tv about a glass of water.
I was wiping the spilled water while the tv is on. about a minute it just turned off on its own. and now i cant turn it on. there was power, but no picture.
I would advise you to check the TV fuse first to see if it has blown, if it has replace it with the same current (amperage) and voltage levels. If the fuse is not blown I would then suggest that you check the HV and deflection stages for damage.
You will need a voltmeter, a schematic, and a HV probe to do this job correctly. If you have these tools and some background in electronics, I will be able to walk you through the procedure to perform these checks however, If you do not have a background in electronics I would suggest that you get a qualidfied TV technician to look at this problem for you.
