Hello taboo_mac15,

I would advise you to check the TV fuse first to see if it has blown, if it has replace it with the same current (amperage) and voltage levels. If the fuse is not blown I would then suggest that you check the HV and deflection stages for damage.

You will need a voltmeter, a schematic, and a HV probe to do this job correctly. If you have these tools and some background in electronics, I will be able to walk you through the procedure to perform these checks however, If you do not have a background in electronics I would suggest that you get a qualidfied TV technician to look at this problem for you.

Thank you,

Water spilled on my huawei android

Water and electronics don't mix.
Immediately, (too late for that), remove batteries.
Wipe off any excess liquid with absorbent paper or cloth.
I have heard that if you bury it in rice overnight, with the battery out and cover removed; that the rice will absorb moisture.
Next day put the battery back in and turn on.
However if there was damage done instantly, you will just have a dry android that doesn't work.

Water damage tv

The underside of the screen has a special coating necessary for reflecting the images from the CRT tubes. If the finish is disturbed, it will no longer be viable. You may have to replace the front screen or put up with a nasty screen.

What do i use for a roundup wedd killer spill?

From MSDS:
SMALL SPILL: Soak up spilled material with paper towels and discard in trash.
LARGE SPILL: Liquid spills on floor or other impervious surfaces should be contained or diked, and should be absorbed with attapulgite, bentonite or other absorbent clays. Collect contaminated absorbent, place in plastic-lined metal drum and dispose of in accordance with instructions provided under Section 13. "DISPOSAL". Thoroughly scrub floor or other impervious surface with a strong industrial type detergent solution and rinse with water. For liquid spills that soak into the ground, contact the applicable Federal, State and or County Health Dept. for disposal recommendations. If disposal is required then refer to Section 13 "DISPOSAL" for instructions.
Leaking containers should be separated from non-leakers and either the container or its contents transferred to a drum or other non-leaking container and disposed of in accordance with instructions provided under Section 13 "Disposal". Any recovered spilled liquid should be similarly collected and disposed of.
Do not contaminate water, foodstuffs or feed by storage or disposal.
GENERAL PROCEDURES: Observe all protection and safety precautions when cleaning up spills -- see Section 8. "EXPOSURE CONTROLS/PERSONAL PROTECTION". For help with any spill, leak, fire or exposure involving this material, call day or night (800) 225-2883.

Grandson spilled glass of water on top of tv and it poured inside the tv. We let it set for a couple weeks to dry out. Earlier today it came on picture & sound but when channel was changed it went off....

Was the tv on when water spilled on it? Or on standby? I would guess it does not matter now. I do not like to even try to repair a tv with water damage...as the problem can go almost any where. Really and truly your best fix for headaches is to replace your tv. Some may argue this but I know best.

Spilled liquid on PSP

Try putting it in a bag of rice for a day or so, because rice absorbs moisture, so it might draw out any water still inside. Hope this helps.

Your fuse will be on the main board just after the power cord inlet. Maybe in a small black box that the top opens on.
