Question about HP Pavilion dv9000z Notebook
I have dv9207us laptop with me. it was suddenly dead. normaly i don't shutdown the laptop, same thing i did one night (just simply folded the screen it went to sleep mode) and opened the screen on the morning, it was totaly dead and some smoke smell has come and did the basic testing with these components (outlet, A/C adaptor, removed the battery) all are perfect, Then i have removed the battery and connected my laptop with the adaptor only...hmmm no use. No display. then I decided there is something wrong with the motherboard.
I have disasambled the laptop with the HP Service Manual. I have sperated the motherboard.
Now How to check the motherboard is the problem? I tried connecting just the motherboard with keyboard + powerboard and powered UP, but nothing was happening (no LEDs were blinking)I thought atleast if the CPU FAN run's then I can continue something.
Can I order the same motherboard and replace? please help me ...
