Question about Refrigerators
When we purchased our home, this refrigerator/freezer was included. The ice dispenser flap has mold growth on both the inside and outside. Also, tea has splashed onto the the lever between the clear plastic chute and the lever. Can the dispenser chute be dissasembled for cleaning? My husband is an electrical engineer and will be able to dissamble the chute if it is possible without damaging it.
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Open the freezer door and look down the ice chute while you shine a flashlite up the dispenser cute from the outside. If you see light around the chute door, it needs to be replaced. The problem you describe is almost always air laekage around that flap. Post back if you need more help.
