Or easier...is to press the reset button and get the router to the factory defaults...and after that reenter into it from browser...adress
http://192.168.1.1 or whatever ip had into the manual ...and if its reseted the username will be admin..and the pasword one of these:
admin ; 123 ; or no password at all .
after that just reenter settings ...wlan ..for the internet conection ..after case ip static or dinamic ( for modems..)
wireless conection is where you set a conection name and an acces password...
and so on ...

On pc click start then type cmd in the new windows type ipconfig.. take the ip address of default gateway ( will look like 198.162.1.254 ) type it into internet explorer and there is your router web interface.

I cant access wirless connection to my computer, there is wire conn ,but not wirless

Some later model wireless routers have the Password(ie.Encryption key) and the SSID already configured in the wireless router andthis information is printed on a label on the bottom of the router.
These settings can be used to configure the wireless card and wireless adaptersin your computer/laptop.
If these settings do not suit you, then it can be changed to suit yourrequirements.
The encryption key secures your data and wireless connection from unauthorizedaccess. To configure the wireless settings in the router, connect a LAN cablefrom your computer to the wireless router, then open a Browser on your computerand enter the router's configuration IP address, then enter the admin login andpassword and then go to the wireless settings and configure the SSID andEncryption key.
The router's encryption key can be a Passphrase or the WEP or WPA or WPA2key.If you use the Passphrase method select either WEP or WPA or WPA2 togenerate the encryption key. You can enter the WEP or WPA or WPA2 key with 8 to63 ASCII characters or 64 Hex digits.
Most people use Passphrase which is easier to remember eg. I was born inJanuary 1988.
The strongest and latest security is WPA2, the weakest and oldest is WEP. Toconnect to your wireless router from the computer/laptop, configure thewireless card in your computer/laptop with the router's wireless settings ieSSID, plus the WPA or WPA2 encryption key. Then computer/laptops cancommunicate with your wireless router.http://www.fixya.com/support/r10267861-network_security_key

My wirless dissapear all the flasshing exept wirless line

Try RESETTING the Netgear back to the default setting and then configure it again.
To RESET the Netgear, power up the Netgear then press andhold the RESET button at the back of the router until all the LEDs flash. Connect a LAN cable from the Netgear to the LAN port on yourcomputer, open a browser and enter the Netgear configuration URL -
http://192.168.0.1
The default login = admin
The default PW = password You can now change the admin password and configure thewireless settings.
Go to the wireless configuration and set up the SSID and WPA or WPA2encryption.
Apply these settings to the wireless card in your laptop/computer.

If this does not work then the Netgear routy is faulty, then you need a new wireless router.

To secure your wireless network from unauthorized access, please click on thislink and follow my instructions :- http://www.fixya.com/support/r3559128-wireless_router_security

My belkin wireless g plus mimo router cant operate online and i have no way how to fix it. i was switching it to a wep setup and after that i couldnt connect using any of the wirless products in my house...

1-In order to get your router back to the original settings, you must push in the reset button (usually on the back of the router) for somewhere between 10 and 30 seconds depending on the router. You may need a pin or something small to push in the button, because it can be recessed. Once you have reset the router, the username and password will be changed to the defaults, admin and password, respectively. One thing you must remember is that resetting the router will change all of the router settings back to the factory settings. This means you will lose all of the changes you made since you got the router. Make sure to write down any things you've changed, so you can change them back after the reset. Also, I recommend updating to the latest firmware after the reset.

I put a password on the router and i cant get on to change it

1. if you know the password try tying the password in a Word processor fist to see if you have it typed in upper case instead of lower case this may be why it is not accepting the password.

Netcomm NP740n wireless router connection

If you connect the computer directly to the modem, does it work?
If that works then the modem is working.
Now connect the computer to the router and the modem to the router.
You will need to open the set up page of the router to check the settings of the router.
You can set up the router without the CD also.
It is very easy.

How to secure my wirless connection

You could set up a mac address filter with just your routers address or you could set up a wireless key that only your computer uses. Here is a quick tutorial:
