If the PS3 has an HDMI cable you can get a converter at Monoprice.com. They are relatively inexpensive. If you want sound you will also need an optical cable as the DVI does not take in sound like the HDMI cable.

Normally I would provide you with the 4 digit code to reset the entire set and restore all inputs
I am away from home and do not have the information here===these sets have three hidden service menus==one for adjust, one for convergence and the last for a Hard reset of the entire set.
set gets turned on with the Mitsubishi remote and a four digit number code (by model number) is entered and then enter button pressed.
Set reverts to factory default on ALL settings.
Mitsubishi is reluctant to tell people who phone but usually will if you tell them you know it has this feature.
This should restore all inputs and if you have labeled any inputs (like video one being marked dvd) it will remove those as part of the process.
If it was the lamp there should be nothing. press the menu button if the menu does not come up the issue is with the tv. If the menu does come up try a second source a dvd player or game system. If the issue is only with the original source than the original source needs to be replaced.
Check your manual, I have the same set and you need a
WD 5000 HD upgrade panel, I believe.
This TV is HD upgradeable, it is NOT HD ready, like you have
been told by other responder......
I have the same tv and I took my clear shield off and never put it back on. The picture is much better without it as it will reflect light and objects in the room making it difficult to see the pic clearly. I was told by a service tech that the primary purpose of the glass or shield is to prevent damage to the screen from objects, water etc. If you have no small children in the home you can enjoy a better pic.
