Question about GE (PSS26MSRSS) Side by Side Refrigerator
The ice make seems to work fine as it will still slowly make ice and drop but it does not have much time before the fan starts to chip away at the ice build up.

I can only wonder if the drain tube has been cleaned out to make sure water flows into the pan .Also make sure it is fully defrosted and left over water will freeze quick.

is it defrosting theres a glass tube which is the defroster bar, there known to have these fail

suspect you have a problem with the defrost system and hence the noise with the fan. take back panel off inside the freezer and if i'm right, melt ice off with a hairdryer. get back to me to say the results if you want

This is the fan motor making noise but the fan motor is probably ok. The main board supplies voltage to the motor and can cause it to make strange noises.
