Question about Refrigerators

1 Answer

Hi, My washing machine is not completing the washing cycle, it gets stuck when the water should go out of the tank. There is anormal noise like if something does not have the strengh to pull the water out of the machine. After a while with this noise all the three light in the facade goes blinking and nothing happens anymore. The washing machine is still filled with water and soap. I tried turning it off and then on again, chosing directly a cycle to get the water off but it does not work neither. The same noise comes and nothing happens. No water goes out of the machine. I am in Brasil, I bought this machine in France. Thanks for any help / suggestion you could bring here. Regards, Xavier Some more info on the washing machine I am talking about: Lavadora - Eficiencia de lavado: A - Clasificaci?n energ?tica: A - Carga Frontal - 1400 rpm - Alto: 85 cm - Ancho: 60 cm Marca: Gorenje EAN: 3838942339677 tipo de Carga: Fronta

Well Xavier, looks like you have a bad water pump in your machine, or its clogged up with debrie, either way you will have to have a qualified tech check it out unless you are extreamly handy with replacing pump motors, its not to easy to do, hope that helped ya

Good day,
Sounds like your not getting enough water on the fill cycle.
Unlike a washing machine, you have 7 seconds for a fill cycle to complete. Period.
It's either the water valve on the bottom rear of the machine not opening completely and must be replaced since it's a non-repairable item, or the house water supply system is corroding and slowing the water down.

KENMORE DISHWASHER CLEAN LIGHT BLINKS SEVEN TIMES M#665.17029403

The thermistor beneath the accumulator inside the sump detects the water temperature as it begins the first 8 minutes of the main wash cycle. During this time, the controller expects the thermistor to detect the 2-4 degrees rise in the water temperature when the first 8 minutes is completed. If the expected temperature rise is not met, the controller will not be satisfied. It will shut the dishwasher down and blink the clean light 7 times. Press the heated dry then normal wash buttons in the same sequence two times. The unit will enter diagnostics mode, but can be stopped by pressing the cancel button. It will clear the fault and makes the dishwasher run normal but the fault will appear again if you have problem in either of the following:
  1. Heater and its circuitry
  2. Water filling
  3. Pumping motor
If the heater is not working, the water temperature will not rise then controller will shutdown the machine.
If there's no water entering the machine, no water will be heated and there's no way the controller through the thermistor can detect any rise in temperature.
If the pumping motor is not working, the water cannot circulate over the heater and be heated. Again, the controller will not be satisfied.

You can bypass this fault detection feature by filling the machine either with extremely cold or extremely hot water. Water colder than 62 or hotter than 160 degrees Fahrenheit will make the controller not to check for a temperature rise but rather continue on the next cycle.
Please let me know if the problem still bother you.

The water supply line had gotten chewed by the dog. Now the we have the line repaired its up and running. But its got the same noise and not ice is dropping. The noise I am talking about is the same noise...

IF THE ICE MAKER IS TRYING TO DUMP ICE, IT MAY HAVE A PARTIAL CUBE JAMMING THE EJECTOR BLADES, KEEPING THEM FROM COMPLETING THEIR CYCLE. FEEL THE EJECTOR BLADES, ONE AT A TIME TO SEE IF THERE IS SOMETHING WEDGED BETWEEN THEM AND THE ICE MAKER MOLD. THERE SHOULD ALSO BE ICE CUBES IN ALL THE SLOTS, ALL THE WAY UP TO THE FRONT. IF NOT, THERE IS INSUFFICIENT SUPPLY OF WATER TO THE ICE MAKER.

Samsung Side by Side Refrigerator RS2556SH - Making loud noise

Hi, had the same problem with my RS21DCNS engineer came and made a modification to drain hole (made the hole bigger!) this allows for a little more ice to form without causing the horrid noise. A new backplate was ordered as all new models have a larger hole in the backplate already. It only takes a few mins and it under guarantee if you bought less than 2 yrs ago, but you will have to empty fridge side to allow them to get to inside at the back. Good luck.
