Turn off the water, both hot and cold, then take the hoses off and look inside to see if the screens are dirty. Also when you have the hoses off look inside the water valve to be sure that the screens in there are clean .Hope this helps.

I have a master built 30 smoker, after 5 minutes in keeps tripping the gci /breaker. Sorry, I have used it on the same outlet numerous times without any problems

the ground circuit interrupter is supposed to trip if a short or condition which causes the power to quickly go to ground. make sure your machine aint shorted out and is properly grounded by checking each prong from power supply cord to frame of the smoker. if no shorts then the GCI must be getting weak and prematurely tripping on its own or simply not rated for your appliance.

Tcl 770 keeps triping power

Check to make sure the breaker is rated for the current draw of the dryer. If it is, you MAY have a bad breaker. Replace your breaker and If the dryer is still tripping the breaker, your dryer needs to be repaired by a qualified technician.... the heating element is probably burned up and shorting out.

Power to the dryer is 220 volts, with half of the total voltage supplied by each of two breakers. The breakers are combined into one larger breaker, but each side of the breaker connects to a different buss bar in the breaker box. What it sounds like is that one half of your breaker is tripped, and the remedy is to trip the double breaker in order to reset the half that is tripped. If tripping the breaker off and back on does not restore the operation of the dryer, trip the breaker back off, unplug the dryer, and check for any burned wires at the terminal strip where the cord connects to the dryer. Replace any defective or burned parts.

Dryer stop working

Check the breaker for the dryer power. The breaker may have tripped or lost half of the power supply.

We had 3 power outages a couple of days ago and my Maytag Performa Dryer won't run now.

Obviously when you had the power outage the voltage and frequency fluctuated. If you had the dryer running at the time, then it has tripped. Check the power supply at the plug point first, if its good then check the machine it has to have a trip switch on it or a internal fuse. check them if they are good.

Clothes Dryer not working

if it is tripping the breaker right away there is an issue with the drier shorting to ground. unplug and look for a broken wire in the drier. if the drier runs for 10-15 min maybe 30 before it trips the breaker. there is a loose connection in the wiring. either at the junction box in the wall behind the dryer or at the breaker panel. If it is in the electrical I would call an electritian. Good Luck!
