Question about ASUS K50IJ-C1 Notebook
Install DriverMax 18.104.22.1683 or driveridentifier http://www.driveridentifier.com/desktop.php
and drivers choose to present it requires inscription on site.
I had the same problem but once I installed these two could find the drivers it needed. You can also go to the asus website and search for the model name of your laptop.
I have another problem: after install win7, the batery not charge.
I bought the laptop with Vista, but I installed XP, now installed Windows 7, everything is working perfectly but not charge the battery, I've tried everything: calibration, tested various power plans, I ended up buying a new battery but no result . I think it must be some kind of driver or change something in the BIOS that I lack despite having returned to install XP and Vista and battery re-charging without problem. if you can help me send email email@example.com

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

You need to install windows 7 (32 bit) not 64. To change to 64 you have to make internal changes and updates to your notebook. Your notebook is set up for 32 bit systems.

Testimonial: "Not really helpful as I can't locate drivers for the BD UJ-120 burner"
You should have had some drivers for this laptop when you bought your machine. If you cant find them, download them and install from: http://support.asus.com/download/download.aspx?SLanguage=en-us
