My atomatic pool cleaner keeps getting stuck in the corner at the deep end of the pool

The cleaner is unnamed but just like any other auto suction cleaner. The pool is 12mx4m & 2m deep rising to 1m I have ajusted the weights positioning acording to instructions and length of hose which comes with 10 x 1m sections. the head keeps stick in the cornes like it is unable to turn. is there a answer to this problem?

The pool has a designated suction pipe at mid way. The cleaner only gets stuck at the deep end. The pool has 3 inlet pipes. I close 2 off and fit a redirector to the 3rd.when the cleaner reaches the corner at 45 deg it will not turn to the left or to the right.

SOURCE: legend 2 pool cleaner auto back-up feature stopped working

Make sure you have a clean filter and clean wall fitting screen. Pull hose out of water and lay it so you can watch the back-up mode go through its mode. The housing might be crack and have a leak which might not give the valve enough power.

Try moving the water inlets around. Down the wall if you can. They will set a current in the pool the cleaner with floating hoses can't over come. If you don't have eyeball returns you can get diverters to do this for you. That should fix your problem.

SOURCE: baracuda pool cleaner does not cover the entire pool

With these pool cleaners, there are several things that it could be. Check the return line water flow and redirect as necessary with an eyeball diverter. Make sure the automatic regulator valve is installed properly and is not clogged. Make sure the cleaner has proper hose balance.

My kreepy keeps coiling at the deep end of pool and stays there what do i need to do so that it cleans the whole pool?

There are a couple of things that you can try to get your pool cleaner to cover both ends of the pool. First, use an eyeball diverter to make sure that your water flow is correct to make the pool cleaner function in the proper pattern. Your return lines could be pushing the cleaner only toward your deep end. Secondly, if your hose is connected to your filter at the deep end of the pool, it could be that your hose is not long enough to cover the entire pool. You might need to add hose lengths. You will also want to adjust your hose weights.

Vac gets stuck in deep end and can't get to shallow end

What type of pool do you have? These specific pool cleaners are made for flat bottomed above ground pools. They are not made to move from deep end to shallow end. If you are using this on an in ground pool that has both shallow and deep or a dished above ground pool, you are not going to get accurate cleaning.

Zodiac has suction but doesn't move

With these pool cleaners, that is often a problem with the flapper. Check the flapper to be sure that no debris is stuck. Debris can halt water flow and movement, making your cleaner get stuck.

Kreepy cleans the deep end great. It cleans the walls and bottom but will not venture up the slant to the shallow end

There are several things that could cause these automatic pool cleaners to have this problem. First, check the return line water flor and redirect it if necessary. Also, make sure that the hose is long enough to cover the entire pool without difficulty. Also, check the hose balance to make sure that it is correct.

Sticking solid to the bottom wont move.

If you have to much suction This can keep the cleaner stuck in one spot. Once the cleaner sticks to the floor the flapper won't move because of low water flo. If the cleaner only sticks when it hits the main drain then you still have suction through the drain and need to shut it down or plug it off. The suction from the drain and the cleaner suction will cancel each other out and cause the cleaner to stick to the drain. A main drain is a misnomer it is properly called a deep suction, as it's job is to collect heavy dirt. The cleaner is a roveing deep suction and replaces the main drain. So you no longer need it and can feel free to plug it if you have to. Good luck.

The zodiac G4 pool cleaner has slowed down considerably and now gets stuck on the drain so i have to continually drag it off so it will circle the rest of the pool

Your Zodiac should ballence all suction with the skimmer and no suction should go through the main drain. A main drain is better called a deep suction to collect heavy dird and your cleaner is a roveing suction and replaces the drain. If both are on the two suctions pulling against each other will always stop the cleaner.

Barrauda quatro stays in deep end

I have a G4 and have to adjust the intake valves to reduce flow from the skimmers so it increases suction from the vacuum. That usually will bring it up from the seep end. If it worked before and not now, inspect your hose for leaks/rips/tears.

Zodiac baracuda wont go to shallow end of pool

If you can, adjust your intake valves so more of the suction is coming from your vacuum and less from your skimmers. This will allow the the vacuum to climb out of the deep end.
