Yes its stops on the cycle rinse and drain than the f02 comes on and thats the problem is it the pump going out. thanks albert.

You may just have some coins clogging the pump. Better take it out side to take pump off. But is is easy.

hellow my name is joyce and It sounds like you have a issue with your cut off valve that controls the water flow to your machine in between cycles, this is controled by your timer switch you may want to call technichian to repair. sounds like the only problem you have with the timer is on the rinse cycle not the wash cycle, but it defently needs to be fixed. if I can help you find a repair person please let me know.

There is a sensor that relays information back to control board. If you have new pump, pressure switch and latch, the sensor is most likely faulty

SOURCE: The drain pump of my whirlpool duet washer makes a ticking noise

Hi, Remove your strainer cover, located in the kick panel at the front, and use a mirror and flashlight to see up into the pump cavity. It sounds like there is enough debris in the strainer and pump to explain your problem. Remove any foreign material you find.

Code F02 is lighting up, but the drain not pluged
I would make sure that your using HE detergent. The FO2 error code can occur from a suds lock caused to too much detergent or not using high efficiency soap. If you are using HE soap then the problem is going to be in your drain pump. Its fairly easy to clean just google a how to on clearing the pump. Theres also some how's in the "tips" section on this webside. Hope this helps _MJ_

"F02" is a Long Drain error code. This indicates that you have an obstruction in the drainage system. More than likely you probably have a clog in the drain pump. The following link explains:

Included is a follow-on link that explains how to check the drain pump to clean. You may also have to remove the inlet hose that runs from the bottom of the wash tub to the inlet side of the drain pump. Debris can commonly clog in this area as well causing the drain cycle to fail.

NOTE: If these preliminary measures do not correct your problem, you may have to replace the drain pump. It does not take much to damage the pump impeller or motor. Since the error code is generated if the drain cycle exceeds 8 minutes, if the pump is damaged and can't pump at the required volume, the error code will continue to appear until the pump is replaced.

I have just an "f" flashing can't find this code anywhere.
This is most likely an "FO2" Code.(Long drain). Any time the experiences a draining issue, this code will show. Check the following to address this issue.

If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes, the water valves are turned off and F02 is flashed.

Potential Causes

Got code F02 after cleaning all drain system and replacing pump.
"F02" is a Long Drain error. If the drain time exceeds 8 minutes this error code will be displayed. In addition, a "SUDS" error may also be generated as a secondary error. This is an indication of a drain pump problem and/or clog in the drain line. You will need to check the following:

1. Check the drain hose to make sure it is not kinked or clogged.
2. Check the electrical connections to the pump and ensure the pump is running.
3. Remove the drain pump filter and check for foreign objects and/or debris.
