Hello Roger Carter - Usually this type of information is not release to someone who is not a technician and it is very rare to find enough information to do it yourself. In most cases this information can be found on the internet; however it is not provided directly from the manufacturer. Typically this is something that you want a certified professional to install/remove for you due to safety and liability reasons. They also usually warranty their labor just in case something else may turn out to be the root cause of your initial problem and it does work out better to your advantage. Consider contacting your manufacturer for more details on who in your area can properly repair/install this part (part usually have a 30 day warranty with tech). I would suggest contacting your manufacturer to provide you a listing of authorized technicians in your area whom may guide you through this process.

SOURCE: Water leaking from left side ice/water dispenser

If you describe a constant flow of water from the ice maker then the solenoid valve is either leaking by when it's upposed to be off or the motor module is stuck in the "fill" position. If it was stuck in fill you would be getting a LOT of water all the time so if you only have a trickle then the solenoid valve may be letting water leak by it. The diagram here shows the parts for a better idea of what you may need to look at (and where it's at). http://www.partselect.com/Schematics/Frigidaire/SZGBPCQH.gif

yes where thr water go\es into the ice maker is where the problem lies, take the ice maker out and then you'll see the tuding where the water goes into the ice maker. Then take a hair drier or a shop vac reversed and thae out the utde and the water will flow after it is thawed.

My 7-button Frigidaire Gallery ice/water module is not lighting up and not functioning. No ice or water is being dispensed. Wiring harnesses seem to be all intact.

Hi

If freezer door switch is not working, dispenser won't work. Does the freezer light go off & on when door is opened & closed? If you have a voltmeter, check that water valve is getting 120 volts when dispenser is pushed in. If no voltage, I would suspect the micro-switch that you hear clicking when you push in with a glass. Even though it clicks, the contacts could still be bad in it. However other than that loose/off wire, ribbon cable for front buttons off/loose, bad board, child lock are something that can make the dispenser dead.

Icemaker makes ice, but will not dispense ice via door.

The auger arm in the back of the freezer should be rotating to test this hold the door switch in and push the dispise button down. If it does not even try it could be the control switch on the door. the auger motor is a 120v motor and relatively strong. You can test to see if you can manually turn the arm it should trurn stiffly. Its alsoi a chance you don't have the been in place correctly.

Icemaker is on cube but is still crushing ice it seems like it is stuck on crush, the light is on cube.

You have a solenoid switch which switches the dispenser back and forth from crushed to cube. It could be stuck or not working or the parts connecting it could be disconnected or broken. You will have to observe to see if any parts are moving and if any noise is coming from the solenoid
Remove the dispenser cover by gently prying starting at the bottom going round and round a little at a time to prevent from breaking it. When it's off the screws will be exposed to access the other components

Water is not going into icemaker, I've replaced

I have a maytag side by side with water in the door, the cold water works but the icemaker doesn't. No water flow into the icemaker, it doesn't appear to be iced up. Can not tell if the selenoid works.
