try n download a new RIM/firmware for blackberry bold 9000 and use 'apploader' to install it on your blackberry.
The 'apploader' is located at the program file in your PC only if u have installed Blackberry desktop manager on your PC. Search on google on how to install the fimware.. it is very easy and simple
Just unlock your blackberry network, call your original phone network and make request about blackberry bold 9000 unlock code, they will charge some money to you and you need to wait for a couple weeks before you get that code. Or you can buy blackberry unlock code from third party sites with lower cost and you just need to waiting in minutes.
you can check it with other sim card ,if it remains the same problem ,it may be locked to particular network wont accept any sim card other than the particular network ,you can unlock it and used to other network, try here http://www.prounlocking.com/blackberry-9000-bold/rs8wp9/
Try to get the latest firmware (either from your provider's website, or directly from Blackberry website), then load it onto your Blackberry using the Desktop Manager (also available from Blackberry website).
what error is on the screen!
