Spins fine free.when coupled to bolt there's no hammer action.just stalls. Thanks

If debris has been entering tool over time, the vaines will not make good contact to cyl. wall. Flush out gun with kerosine or diesel fuel to clean interior of the gun. If dirty, the first flush will be very dark and every flush after that will become more clear. After good cleaning/flush, add tool oil and retest tool. If tool begins to hit but not full power, you may have to open tool and remove scratches from the vaines. Make sure that you use the largest quick connect fitting possible. Sometimes the tool will loose power if you are using 1/4 inch connections and the vanes are not in good shape. Good luck

I have a ir 5/8 drive impact #2905vw599 and need parts

the best advice i can give, after being involved with rattle guns for 30 years is for you to take it to an air tool service centre , ithink the main parts you will need willbe o rings and they will have access to the parts required ,even if they be after market, believe me ,that is the way to go .

Throttle valve is rotten and tool runs when you plug in the air without pulling trigger

there is a neoprene O ring in the trigger area ,that breaks down ,it needs a service by an air tool repairer ,it is not expensive. dont use wd40 or the like if dont have airtool oil use auto transmission fluid and this wont happen too often

Go to and search for your model there. Campbell Hausfeld makes the Husky line for Home Depot. Sometimes they are limited runs on certain products and you will not find any information about those tools. Its worth a shot to contact Campbell Hausfeld to see if you can get a breakdown for your tool. They do have an email and phone contact on their website. The power tools phone number is 1-800-424-8936. Good luck.

No reverse

well depends on how good of a mechanic you are. The reverse can be replaced. however the transaxle has to be removed. and you went that far... so logically you'd repair the whole thing. a catalog that you can get for free is called Northern Parts. They are out of Iowa. good stuff and offer lots of diffrent stuff and tranny kits inexpensive. (NOT cheap) thats for the parts companies with stuff made in china. Or call a auto salvage yard and see if they have a used one.
