When in doubt add to much oil. In Stihl units it calls for a 50:1 ratio but I run about 40:1 in all the new ones I sell and the old ones I repair. The thing with adding to much oil is it may clog the spark arrester screen and it will blow a lot of blue smoke, but better to have to much oil then not enough

Does this engine require mix gas?

Peter
you are too short on details like make model , 2 stroke or 4 stroke
read your user manual or look on the petrol cap as most have the ratio on the bowser emblem
so for an answer, it is most likely a 2 stroke and so-- yes-- it will require a oil/fuel mix in the tank
if you do not know it , start with a ratio of 40:1 ( 40 fuel -1 oil) and only use 2 stroke oil not normal engine oil
run at rpms and there should be a trace of blue smoke
too much smoke cut the oil back to 50:1 and no smoke increase the oil to 30:1
go google and type in user manual for ( make and model ) --and the ratio will be in that print put

Fuel ratio on a titan 50?

books say 50.1 ratio is best
use the correct 2 stroke oil as normal engine oil is not the best oil to use.as it dilutes too quickly and doesn't provide proper lubrication to the moving parts
A proper ratio is when you can just seek blue from the exhaust
no smoke is too lean on the oil

Two stroke fuel mix for 250 ls grass strimmer

I run a 40:1 ratio in all my 2-stroke equipment. I use my equipment VERY HEAVY every day, and it consists of Stihl, poulon, John Deere, etc... Just don't go over 50:1, or under 32:1 and you should be fine!

for a 40/1 mixture use 3 ounces of oil ( 2 stroke) to a gallon of gas for a 50/1 ( which is what I recommend ) its 2.5 ounces to each gallon of gas, if you find that the machine is smoking a little too much,, back up on the oil just a hair,, but I don't think you'll need to

Could you please advise on the fuel/oil ratio for a shibaura HB26 blower. I have misplaced the manual. Thanks

From the manual - page 8.
Use only branded two-stroke air-cooled engine oils with the classification TC for mixing. The mix ratio is 25 ~ 30 : 1.
We recommend Shell Super Two Stroke Oil since it is specially tested fr use in SHIBAURA engines.
The mix ratio is 50 : 1

Also, use regular branded gasoline with a minimum octane number of 90.
