The lamp driver is the power supply which supplies the lamp with electricity. with the rear cover removed it is located in the center. there are 4 screws holding it in place and you will see 2 thick red wires leading to the lamp.replaced this ( part # 1-468-875-11 ) and your tv will be ready for the super bowl

Had continous red blinks on lamp led replaced lamp and ballast, now have 5 blinks on power led still no picture or sound

Try connecting the TV directly to a different wall outlet and check. If the issue persists, try power resetting the TV. Turn Off the TV and remove the power plug from the wall outlet for 1 minute and reconnect it and check the operation. If the issue persists, then the TV requires service.

Tv turns on for two seconds, shuts off, begins binking.

The problem is most likely a power supply related problem.
The TV is in protection mode right now. It's keeping the other parts inside the TV from being damaged by automatically turning itself OFF. The 9 blinks should be an error code for the problem with the power supply. I don't have the Service Manual for your TV model number to tell you what the code means and which part to replace. Every brand of TVs have a different meanings of the code.
If you have electronic experience, you can find a factory repair manual over the internet. Normally, it's called a Service Manual. It costs about less than $20.
